Situation: The capacity of the two production lines was limited by a 2-row multi-spot welding machine
and a double-cross-seam welding machine.
Our approach: Extension of both lines to 3-row multi-spot welding machine with extended feeding
system. Integration of a second double-cross- seam welding machine to increase the line capacity to
1,000,000 pieces per year. Upgrades executed with customer within 4 weeks including start of
production.

Situation: Capacity bottleneck in the production line in the area of head-plate assembly was identified.
A connection between the production lines is necessary.
Our approach: Planning and construction of a transportation concept for the distribution of the
radiators on back-up conveyors and three production lines.

Situation: Refurbishment of a used Schlatter Block 1 of the 70's was requested.
Our approach: Definition of the retrofit concept and the preparation of the Block 1 with the state of the
art technology including the implementation of modernized positioning system.

Situation: The welding-heads were leaking after 20 years of use. The function of the guide system
was severely restricted.
Our approach: Definition of the retrofit scope with subsequent preparation of the welding-heads.
Implementation of a rolling conversion process on the 4 lines. It was possible to prevent an
intervention in the ongoing production operation. The conversion took 2 days per conversion.
Client: Global heating system manufacturer
Situation: Transfer of production from Central Europe to Asia. Accompanying the start of production
up to series production.
Our approach: Accompanying the start of production over a year with ~ 100 days. Training of
production staff as well as procurement of relevant spare parts.
